Setup details by role
Snare pad 2-zone The "To Snare" branch of the multi-pin cable harness → snare pad
The snare input is dual-zone (head + rim): the module's note defaults list Snare – Center and Snare – Rim as separate MIDI notes.
Tom pad 2-zone The "To Tom 1"–"To Tom 4" branches of the multi-pin cable harness → one per tom pad
Four dual-zone tom inputs (head + rim), each with its own head and rim MIDI note. The rim only reads once that input's Tom Type is set to Dual.
Kick pad Works The "To Kick" branch of the multi-pin cable harness → kick pad
Single-zone kick trigger. Only the head zone is active.
2-zone crash 2-zone 1× TRS → EXP1 or EXP2 (1/4" dual-zone input) on the back panel
Dual-zone cymbal triggering runs through the EXP1 and EXP2 inputs on the back panel — the manual describes them as being for additional dual-zone pads, and each sends its own center and rim MIDI note. The two crash branches of the cable harness are single-zone (one MIDI note each), so connect Lemon 2-zone cymbals to EXP1/EXP2 for bow and edge; a third and fourth cymbal can still go to the harness crash branches as bow-only.
3-zone ride 2-zone The "To Ride" branch of the multi-pin cable harness → Ride 1 (bow/edge)
Plug the ride branch of the harness into the Lemon ride's Ride 1 output for bow + edge — no cymbal modification. The Titan 70 has a single ride connection, so you get two of the ride's three zones.
Hi-hat Open/Closed "To Hi-Hat" branch → hi-hat pad + "To Hi-Hat Control" branch → hi-hat controller, both on the multi-pin cable harness
The Lemon hi-hat pad and controller connect through the multi-pin cable harness and deliver open and closed hi-hat.
