Setup details by role

Snare pad 2-zone 1× TRS → the SNARE input

The snare input supports dual-zone (head + rim) triggering via the center piezo and the rim piezo.

Tom pad 2-zone 1× TRS per tom → the TOM 1–TOM 4 inputs

The tom inputs support dual-zone (head + rim) triggering via the center piezo and the rim piezo. There are four of them — TOM 1 to TOM 4 — and each is a Dual-Channel: the rim drives a second, independently editable trigger channel the module calls PERC 1–PERC 4.

Kick pad Works 1× TRS → the KICK input

Single-zone kick trigger. Only the head zone is active.

2-zone crash 2-zone 1× TRS → cymbal input (1/4" TRS jack)

Full dual-zone cymbal support with bow and edge.

3-zone ride 3-zone 2× TRS: bow/edge → CYMB A jack, bow/bell → the paired CYMB B jack (e.g. CYMB 3A + CYMB 3B)

Full 3-zone ride (bow, bell, edge). The DrumIt 5 MKII has no dedicated ride input — assign the ride to any CYMB channel. Each CYMB channel has paired A and B jacks, and the manual describes the B channels as "intended for pads that accommodate 2 stereo cables": the A jack reads bow (tip) + edge (ring), the B jack the bell. The Lemon ride's two cables map straight across.

Hi-hat Continuous 1× TRS pad → HIHAT A input + 1× TRS (controller) → HIHAT B input

Continuous hi-hat. The DrumIt 5 MKII's hi-hat channel calibrates the connected controller through its UNIT-HCAL page — set HTYP to DEF, trim the RAW value to match the pad, and run the CALIB routine to capture the pedal's closed and open end-points.
