Setup details by role

Snare pad 2-zone 1× TRS → Snare plug on the multi-pin trigger snake

The DED-300 Pro snare channel is dual-zone — head and rim trigger as separate MIDI notes, and a rimshot articulation is available via the XSTICK ADJ utility. Pads connect through a labeled multi-pin trigger snake that plugs into the module's parallel port.

Tom pad 2-zone 1× TRS per tom → Tom 1, Tom 2, Tom 3 plugs on the trigger snake; Tom 4 → TOM4 jack on the rear panel (1/4" TRS)

All four tom channels are dual-zone — head and rim both trigger. Toms 1–3 connect through the trigger snake; Tom 4 uses the dedicated TOM4 expansion jack on the rear panel with one of the included signal cables.

Kick pad Works 1× TS or TRS → Kick plug on the trigger snake

Single-zone kick trigger. The stock kick tower supports double-bass pedals, and the input handles standard piezo kick pads.

2-zone crash 2-zone 1× TRS → Crash plug on the trigger snake, or CRASH2 jack on the rear panel (1/4" TRS)

Two dual-zone crash channels with choke support: Crash 1 connects through the trigger snake, Crash 2 through the dedicated CRASH2 expansion jack on the rear panel.

3-zone ride 2-zone 1× TRS: Ride 1 (bow/edge) → Ride plug on the trigger snake

Plug the Lemon ride's Ride 1 cable into the snake's Ride connector for bow + edge — no cymbal modification. The DED-300 Pro reads three ride zones, but only from its own single-cable ride design: the trigger snake has one Ride connection, so two of the Lemon ride's zones reach the module.

Hi-hat Continuous (kit pedal) 1× TRS → Hi-hat plug on the trigger snake; keep the stock control box on the hi-hat stand (Hi-hat Control plug)

The DED-300 Pro ships a 12" hi-hat on a real hi-hat stand with a stand-mounted control box that reads pedal position — open, half-open, and closed all trigger, with the half-open threshold adjustable via the Half HC ADJ utility. The pad channel is single-zone.
