Wiring: 1× TRS from the cymbal's Ride 2 output → RIDE trigger input jack — bow only
Full 3-zone is not supported — the DTX700 reads cymbal zones with Yamaha's own single-cable scheme (resistance-coded rim switches), which the Lemon ride's switch zones don't match. Connect the cymbal's Ride 2 output and play it as a bow-only ride.
Cable routing
- Connect the cymbal's Ride 2 output (bow + bell) to the RIDE trigger input jack.
Module settings
- Press [MENU], turn the dial to select Trigger, then select Pad.
- Hit the ride so the RIDE input is selected, then set PadType to the closest cymbal type (e.g. PCY135) — the bow triggers from its piezo regardless of the type chosen.
- Adjust Gain, MinLevel/MaxLevel, and RejectTime so bow strikes register cleanly.
Tips
- The Ride 2 output still carries bow and bell from the cymbal, but this module only registers the bow zone.
- Full simultaneous 3-zone operation is not available on this module.
