The 13" Triple-Zone Crash/Ride is fully supported on your Roland TD-12.

Bell Bow Edge

Wiring: 2× TRS → RIDE input + EDGE input on the rear panel

Full 3-zone ride using separate RIDE and EDGE jacks. Supports CY-15R, CY-14C, CY-12R/C, CY-12C, CY-8, CY-6, CY-5.

Cable routing

  1. Connect a ¼″ TRS cable from the ride cymbal bow/bell output to the RIDE input on the rear panel.
  2. Connect a ¼″ TRS cable from the ride cymbal edge output to the EDGE input on the rear panel.

Module settings

  1. Press [TRIGGER] > [F1] BANK.
  2. Navigate to the RIDE input.
  3. Set the trigger type to CY-15R or CY-12R/C.

Tips

  1. Both cables are required for full 3-zone operation (bell, bow, edge).
  2. If only one cable is connected, the ride will function as 2-zone only.
