Yes — the 11" Dual-Zone Splash/Crash works as a full 2-zone crash on the Yamaha DTX700: bow + edge.

Bow Edge

Wiring: 1× TRS → Crash1 or Crash2 input (1/4" TRS jack)

The DTX700 reads 2-zone cymbals (bow + edge) on its stereo TRS crash inputs — set the cymbal pad type so both zones register.

Connect the cymbal to the Crash1 or Crash2 input using a standard 1/4" TRS cable.
The DTX700 has eleven individual 1/4" trigger input jacks — SNARE, TOM1-3, RIDE, CRASH1, CRASH2, HI-HAT, KICK, one more for an added pad, and [HH-KICK] — plus a separate [HI-HAT CONTROL] jack (Owner's Manual p.12).

Press the [MENU] button, turn the dial to select Trigger, then press the dial.
Turn the dial to select Pad, then press the dial; strike the cymbal so its Crash input is selected.
Move the cursor to the PadType row and set the cymbal entry closest to yours — the Reference Manual prints PCY155, PCY135, PCY150S, PCY130SC, PCY130S/130, PCY100 and PCY65S/65 (p.46).
Set Gain (1–64) on the same Pad Type page so bow strikes register cleanly (p.46).
Adjust MinLevel (Minimum Level, 0%–99%) and RejectTime (4ms–500ms) to reject false hits and double triggers.
Press the [STORE] button to store the setting — if a confirmation message appears, press the dial to proceed.
