13" Triple-Zone Crash/Ride on Simmons Titan 75

Wiring, module settings, and tips for the 13" Triple-Zone Crash/Ride when used with the Simmons Titan 75.

Setup — 13" Triple-Zone Crash/Ride on Simmons Titan 75

Use as 2-zone ride

Yes — the 13" Triple-Zone Crash/Ride works on the Simmons Titan 75 as a 2-zone ride: bow + edge.

Choose your ride zones

Plug: Ride 1

Wiring: 1× TRS: Ride 1 (bow/edge) → the "To Ride" branch of the multi-pin cable harness

Plug the Lemon ride's Ride 1 cable into the ride branch of the harness for bow + edge — no cymbal modification. The Titan 75 has a single ride connection, so you get two of the ride's three zones.

Cable routing

  1. Connect a single 1/4" TRS cable from the cymbal's Ride 1 output (bow/edge) to the branch of the multi-pin cable harness labeled "To Ride".

Module settings

  1. Press the SETUP button, then strike the ride pad to select it — use the LEDs to the right side of the display to see which pad is selected for editing.
  2. Press SETUP repeatedly to step through Sens, Retrigger, Threshold, Curve, and X-Talk until bow and edge strikes register cleanly.
  3. In your kit, load a ride-bow sound on the bow zone and a ride-edge or crash sound on the second zone.

Tips

  1. This is the out-of-the-box setup — no cymbal modification.

Or set it up as Bow + bell

Plug: Ride 2

Wiring: 1× TRS: Ride 2 (bow/bell, after the rewire) → the "To Ride" branch of the multi-pin cable harness

Prefer the bell to the edge? A one-time, reversible jumper move inside the cymbal (~10 min) puts bow + bell on the Ride 2 cable. The Titan 75 voices a ride bell — its note defaults list Ride Bow, Ride Bell and Ride Edge Crash as three separate notes.
