Wiring, module settings, and tips for the T550 10" Low Tom when used with the Alesis DM10 MKII.

Yes — the T550 10" Low Tom works as a full tom on the Alesis DM10 MKII: head + rim.

Head Rim

Wiring: 1× TRS per tom → TOM1, TOM2, TOM3 connectors on the DB-25 cable snake

The tom inputs on the cable snake support dual-zone (head + rim) triggering via center piezo and rim switch.

Connect a 1/4" TRS cable from each tom pad to the TOM1, TOM2, or TOM3 connector on the DB-25 cable snake.
Additional tom inputs may be available as direct jacks on the rear panel.

Press Trigger to enter the trigger interface page, then hit the Tom pad to select it.
Adjust Head Sensitivity, Rim Sens, and Threshold; use Head-Rim Adj to balance head and rim response.

Head triggers from the center piezo, rim triggers from the rim switch.
Both zones respond independently on the TRS connection (tip = head, ring = rim).
