T550 10" Low Tom on Alesis Strike MultiPad

Wiring, module settings, and tips for the T550 10" Low Tom when used with the Alesis Strike MultiPad.

Setup — T550 10" Low Tom on Alesis Strike MultiPad

Works

The T550 10" Low Tom is fully supported on your Alesis Strike MultiPad.

Head Rim

Wiring: 1× TRS → Trigger In 2/3 or 4/5 set to Head+Rim — head + rim

Each 2-zone tom needs one of the two dual-zone jacks (Trigger In 2/3 or 4/5) set to Type = Head+Rim, carrying head + rim over a single TRS cable. There are only two dual-zone jacks total, shared across all your 2-zone pads. To add more single-zone pads, a dual-zone jack can instead be set to 2 Trigger and split with a TRS-to-dual-TS Y-cable, but each Y-cable leg is single-zone (head only).

Cable routing

  1. Connect a 1/4" TRS cable from each Lemon tom pad to a free dual-zone jack (Trigger In 2/3 or 4/5).

Module settings

  1. Press [Trigger], select the tom's trigger input (TRIN2–5) and set Type to Head+Rim.
  2. Tune Sensitivity, Scan Time, Retrig-C and Mask Time, and set Rim Gain for the rim zone.
  3. Assign tom head and rim samples to that trigger input.

Tips

  1. Only two dual-zone jacks exist — a full 2-zone snare + tom already uses both.
  2. For a single-zone tom, set a jack to 2 Trigger and use a TRS-to-dual-TS splitter to reach two mono triggers on one jack.
T550 10" Low Tom also fits 70 other drum modules — see setup
