T550 10" Low Tom on GEWA G5

Wiring, module settings, and tips for the T550 10" Low Tom when used with the GEWA G5.

Yes — the T550 10" Low Tom works as a full tom on the GEWA G5: head + rim.

Head Rim

Wiring: 1× TRS per tom → TOM 1, TOM 2, TOM 3 inputs (1/4" TRS jacks)

The tom inputs support dual-zone (head + rim) triggering via the center piezo and the rim piezo.

Connect a 1/4" TRS cable from each tom pad to the TOM 1, TOM 2, or TOM 3 input on the rear panel.

Press the [TRIGGER SETTINGS] button to enter Trigger Settings mode.
Turn the dial [5] [<INPUT>] to select the TOM 1, TOM 2 or TOM 3 input.
Press [F1] "Settings".
Turn the dial [6] [<ZONE>] to choose the zone (HEAD or RIM).
Turn the dial [5] to Gain and set it with the dial [7] so your hardest stroke reaches full velocity, then do the same for Threshold so light knocks are ignored.

Head triggers from the center piezo, rim from a second piezo on the ring.
Both zones respond independently on the TRS connection (tip = head, ring = rim).
