T550 10" Low Tom on GEWA G9

Wiring, module settings, and tips for the T550 10" Low Tom when used with the GEWA G9.

Yes — the T550 10" Low Tom works as a full tom on the GEWA G9: head + rim.

Head Rim

Wiring: 1× TRS per tom → TOM 1–TOM 4 inputs (1/4" TRS jacks)

The tom inputs support dual-zone (head + rim) triggering via the center piezo and the rim piezo.

Connect a 1/4" TRS cable from each tom pad to a TOM 1–TOM 4 input on the rear panel.

Tap the [Advanced] button and open Trigger Settings mode.
In the Input Channels list, select the tom (TOM 1-TOM 4); tap its component icon (Head or Rim) in the Trigger Selection panel.
In the Trigger Settings panel, adjust Gain, Threshold, High Level, Scan Time, Retrigger Mask, X-Talk, Dyn Time and Dyn Level.
In the Advanced Settings panel, set the Trigger Type to Dual for the head and the rim component to Piezo — p.96: "For pads with 2 piezos for triggering Head and Rim, choose Dual for the Head and Piezo for the Rim."

Head triggers from the center piezo, rim from a second piezo on the ring.
Both zones respond independently on the TRS connection (tip = head, ring = rim).
