13" Triple-Zone Crash/Ride on Donner DED-300 Pro

Wiring, module settings, and tips for the 13" Triple-Zone Crash/Ride when used with the Donner DED-300 Pro.

Setup — 13" Triple-Zone Crash/Ride on Donner DED-300 Pro

Works

Yes — the 13" Triple-Zone Crash/Ride works as a full 2-zone crash on the Donner DED-300 Pro: bow + edge.

Bow Edge

Wiring: 1× TRS → Crash plug on the trigger snake, or CRASH2 jack on the rear panel (1/4" TRS)

Two dual-zone crash channels with choke support: Crash 1 connects through the trigger snake, Crash 2 through the dedicated CRASH2 expansion jack on the rear panel.

Cable routing

  1. Plug the snake's labeled Crash connector into the Lemon crash or splash pad's 1/4" TRS jack.
  2. For a second crash, connect a 1/4" TRS cable from the pad to the CRASH2 jack on the module's rear panel.

Module settings

  1. MENU > SENSITIVITY > select CR > PS (bow), RS (edge), THR, XTALK, RETRIGER, VOLUME.

Tips

  1. Crash MIDI notes (bow / edge): Crash 1 = 49/55, Crash 2 = 57/52.
  2. Choke is triggered by grabbing the edge zone of the cymbal.
  3. The SENSITIVITY menu lists CR (Crash 1) only — the CRASH2 expansion channel uses fixed trigger settings.
13" Triple-Zone Crash/Ride also fits 73 other drum modules — see setup
