Setup details by role

Snare pad 2-zone Via the stand's built-in snake — the Beat Max has no per-pad 1/4" trigger jacks (connection unverified, bench-check pending)

The Beat Max supports dual-zone snare — head (center piezo) and rim (switch) trigger as separate MIDI notes.

Tom pad 2-zone Via the stand's built-in snake — the Beat Max has no per-pad 1/4" trigger jacks (connection unverified, bench-check pending)

All four tom inputs are dual-zone — head and rim both trigger. The Beat Max supports four toms, one more than most mid-range modules.

Kick pad Works Via the stand's built-in snake — the Beat Max has no per-pad 1/4" trigger jacks (connection unverified, bench-check pending)

Single-zone kick trigger. Only the head zone is active.

2-zone crash 2-zone Via the stand's built-in snake — the Beat Max has no per-pad 1/4" trigger jacks (connection unverified, bench-check pending)

Both crash inputs are dual-zone — bow and edge register as separate sounds.

3-zone ride 3-zone Via the stand's built-in snake — the Beat Max has no per-pad 1/4" trigger jacks (connection unverified, bench-check pending)

The Beat Max ships with a 14" triple-zone ride carrying bow + bell + edge (module pad model T_CY14R). The Lemon 3-zone ride uses a matching two-output design. How the ride's two 1/4" TRS leads reach the module through the stand snake has not been bench-verified.

Hi-hat Continuous (kit pedal) The Beat Max has no per-pad 1/4" trigger jacks — every pad, and the hi-hat control, connects through the stand's built-in snake to a single "Module data base socket". The kit's own stand-mounted hi-hat control is retained; the Lemon hi-hat pad rides on top.

The Beat Max reads pedal position from its own stand-mounted hi-hat control — open, half-open, and closed all trigger — with a 2-zone hi-hat pad (tip and edge).
