The Beat Max ships with a 14" triple-zone ride carrying bow + bell + edge (module pad model T_CY14R). The Lemon 3-zone ride uses a matching two-output design. How the ride's two 1/4" TRS leads reach the module through the stand snake has not been bench-verified.
Cable routing
- The Donner Beat Max module has no individual 1/4" pad-trigger jacks. Every pad connects through the drum stand's built-in snake, which terminates in a single multi-pin "Module data base socket" on the module.
- Connecting the Lemon 3-zone ride's two 1/4" TRS outputs to this system has not been bench-verified — confirm the connection before relying on it.
Module settings
- From the main interface open EDITOR (right-side buttons).
- With CHASE on, strike the ride to select it (or pick it from the drop-down), then set Model to T_CY14R (14" triple-zone ride).
- Adjust Pad Sensitivity (bow), Rim Sensitivity (edge), Threshold, and XTalk.
Tips
- Ride MIDI notes: Bow = 51, Bell = 53, Edge = 59.
- Both leads must be connected for full 3-zone play.
- If the edge and bell sounds come out swapped, the two cables are reversed — swap them at the cymbal ends.
