Wiring: 2× TRS → Ride trigger input + a Cymbal trigger input
The Ride trigger slot is natively 3-zone — Trigger Zone 1 Bow, Trigger Zone 2 Edge, Trigger Zone 3 Bell — so the pad's full bow/bell/edge layout reads with edge choke. The Lemon 3-zone ride is dual-output (two signal lines), so it lands on the dedicated Ride input plus one spare Cymbal input.
Cable routing
- Connect a 1/4" TRS cable from the ride's first signal output (bow/edge) to the Ride trigger input on the rear panel.
- Connect a second 1/4" TRS cable from the ride's second signal output (bell) to a free Cymbal trigger input on the rear panel.
Module settings
- Open Trigger Edit Mode and strike the ride bow, or use Hit Select, to select the Ride input; pick the matching trigger preset.
- Use Hit Select to select the Cymbal input carrying the bell and pick its preset.
- Tune Sensitivity and Threshold independently on each input; set Choke Time for the edge mute.
Tips
- Bow, Edge, and Bell each have their own Trigger Zone — edge choke registers when you grab the edge.
- If Edge and Bell feel swapped on either input, toggle Invert Bell & Edge there.
- If the bell is inconsistent, raise its Sensitivity and lower its Threshold.
- If the ride zones interfere with each other, run Learn XTalk on the input that is causing the crosstalk.
18" Triple-Zone Crash/Ride also fits 70 other drum modules — see setup
