18" Triple-Zone Crash/Ride on NUX DM-210

Wiring, module settings, and tips for the 18" Triple-Zone Crash/Ride when used with the NUX DM-210.

Setup — 18" Triple-Zone Crash/Ride on NUX DM-210

Use as 2-zone ride

Yes — the 18" Triple-Zone Crash/Ride works on the NUX DM-210 as a 2-zone ride: bow + edge.

Bell Bow Edge

Plug: Ride 1

Wiring: 1× TRS: Ride 1 (bow/edge) → Ride branch on the multi-pin trigger snake

Plug the Lemon ride's Ride 1 cable into the Ride branch for bow + edge with choke. The DM-210 ride input is 2-zone — no cymbal modification.

Cable routing

  1. Connect the ride's Ride 1 output (bow/edge) to the RIDE branch of the trigger snake.

Module settings

  1. In drum-kit mode, press the MENU button.
  2. Use the − / + buttons to select TRIG, then press OK.
  3. Hit the ride to select it as the pad to adjust.
  4. Press OK to step to each parameter and use − / + to set the value.
  5. Set SENSITIVITY and THRESHOLD for the bow, and RIM GAIN for the edge zone.
  6. Press MENU to return — the parameters save automatically.

Tips

  1. Bow and edge respond independently; grab the edge to choke.
  2. The DM-210 has no ride-bell voice, so bow + edge is the full 2-zone ride it can drive.
18" Triple-Zone Crash/Ride also fits 73 other drum modules — see setup
