Works

The T950 13"x13" Floor Tom is fully supported on your Alesis DM10 MKII.

Head Rim

Wiring: 1× TRS per tom → TOM1, TOM2, TOM3 connectors on the DB-25 cable snake

The tom inputs on the cable snake support dual-zone (head + rim) triggering via center piezo and rim switch.

Cable routing

  1. Connect a 1/4" TRS cable from each tom pad to the TOM1, TOM2, or TOM3 connector on the DB-25 cable snake.
  2. Additional tom inputs may be available as direct jacks on the rear panel.

Module settings

  1. Go to Ext. Trig Menu. Select the Tom input.
  2. Set Piezo/Switch type to Switch for dual-zone pads.
  3. Adjust Sensitivity and Threshold to taste.

Tips

  1. Head triggers from the center piezo, rim triggers from the rim switch.
  2. Both zones respond independently on the TRS connection (tip = head, ring = rim).
