Works

The 11" Dual-Zone Splash/Crash is fully supported on your Alesis DM10.

Bow Edge

Wiring: 1× TRS → Crash 1 (Trigger Input 10) or Crash 2 (Trigger Input 11) input

12 individual ¼″ TRS jacks on the rear panel (no cable snake). Set input type to Switch for dual-zone cymbals.

Cable routing

  1. Connect a ¼″ TRS cable from the cymbal to the Crash 1 (Trigger Input 10) or Crash 2 (Trigger Input 11) input on the rear panel.

Module settings

  1. Go to Ext. Trig Menu. Select the Crash input.
  2. Set Piezo/Switch type to Switch for dual-zone cymbals.
  3. Adjust Sensitivity and Threshold to taste.

Tips

  1. The DM10 has 12 numbered trigger inputs — Crash 1 is Input 10, Crash 2 is Input 11.
  2. Switch mode is required for the edge zone to function correctly.
