Wiring, module settings, and tips for the 11" Dual-Zone Splash/Crash when used with the Alesis Nitro Max.

Setup — 11" Dual-Zone Splash/Crash on Alesis Nitro Max

Works

The 11" Dual-Zone Splash/Crash is fully supported on your Alesis Nitro Max.

Bow Edge

Wiring: 1× TRS → Crash 1 connector on the 25-pin cable snake, or 1× TRS → CYM 2 jack on the rear panel

Crash 1 on the cable snake and CYM 2 on the rear panel both support TRS 2-zone operation.

Cable routing

  1. Connect a ¼″ TRS cable from the cymbal to the Crash 1 connector on the 25-pin cable snake.
  2. Alternative: Connect a ¼″ TRS cable from the cymbal to the CYM 2 jack on the rear panel.

Module settings

  1. Go to Utility → Trigger. Use Page/Select to navigate: SEN (Sensitivity), THR (Threshold), CUR (Curve).
  2. Select the Crash input and adjust parameters.

Tips

  1. R-S (Rim Sensitivity) controls edge zone response.
  2. CRO (Crosstalk) helps reduce false triggers from nearby pads.
