Crash setup and troubleshooting guide ›Cable routing
- Plug the CRASH1 lead on the module's DB25 signal-connection harness into the cymbal, or connect a 1/4" TRS cable from the cymbal to the discrete CRASH2 1/4" jack on the module's jack panel.
- The DED-500's main pads all route through the supplied signal-connection harness (multi-pin DB25 connector into the module's "Data In" port); only the TOM4 and CRASH2 expansion inputs are individual 1/4" jacks.
Module settings
- Upon the setting interface, select TRIG and press [ENTER] to enter the trigger interface, then use the [◀]/[▶] buttons to select the Crash pad.
- Adjust Sensitivity, Threshold, Curve, and Rim Gain (edge sensitivity); raise AntiCross if a neighboring pad falsely triggers.

- Dual-zone bow and edge triggering is supported on crash inputs.
