The 11" Dual-Zone Splash/Crash is fully supported on your Alesis DM7X.

Bow Edge

Wiring: 1× TRS → available cymbal connector on the cable snake

The module accepts TRS input, but edge detection may be limited on the entry-level DM7X. Bow zone should trigger reliably; edge response may be inconsistent.

Cable routing

  1. Connect a ¼″ TRS cable from the cymbal to an available cymbal connector on the cable snake.

Module settings

  1. Access the trigger settings menu on the module.
  2. Adjust Sensitivity and Threshold if available.

Tips

  1. Edge zone detection is limited on this entry-level module — expect bow-only triggering in some cases.
  2. If the edge zone does not respond, the module may not fully support dual-zone input on all connectors.
