WorksThe 15" Triple-Zone Crash/Ride is fully supported on your Roland TD-6.
Bow
Edge
Wiring: 1× TRS → CRASH1 input (TRIGGER INPUT 9) or CRASH2 input (TRIGGER INPUT 10) on the rear panel
Dual-zone crash triggering: bow (tip) and edge (ring) respond independently via the single TRS connection. Choke works by grabbing the cymbal edge. The TD-6 supports two 2-zone crash inputs (CRASH1 and CRASH2) plus a separate RIDE input.
Cable routing
- Connect a ¼″ TRS cable from the cymbal to the CRASH1 or CRASH2 input on the rear panel.
Module settings
- Hold [SHIFT] and press [EDIT (SETUP)] to enter setup mode, then select TRIG BASIC.
- Strike the cymbal so the display shows the CR1 or CR2 input.
- Set the Trigger Type to CY6, CY-12H, or CY-14C depending on your cymbal size.
Tips
- Bow and edge zones respond independently.
- Choke works by grabbing the cymbal edge.
