Setup details by role

Snare pad 2-zone 1× TRS → SNARE input (TRIGGER INPUT 2) on the rear panel

Dual-zone snare triggering: head (tip) and rim (ring) respond independently via the single TRS connection on the SNARE input.

Tom pad 2-zone 1× TRS per tom → TOM1 input (TRIGGER INPUT 4) on the rear panel; additional toms via TOM2/AUX (5/6) and TOM3/4 (7/8) inputs

Only the TOM1 input (TRIGGER INPUT 4) supports dual-zone tom triggering. The TOM2/AUX and TOM3/4 inputs are mono only — they do not read rim signals. For best results, connect your most-used tom (typically the rack tom you'd cross-stick) to TOM1 and route any additional toms to TOM2-4 as mono.

Kick pad Works 1× TS or TRS → KICK input (TRIGGER INPUT 1) on the rear panel

Single-zone kick trigger. Only the head zone is active.

2-zone crash 2-zone 1× TRS → CRASH1 input (TRIGGER INPUT 9) or CRASH2 input (TRIGGER INPUT 10) on the rear panel

Dual-zone crash triggering: bow (tip) and edge (ring) respond independently via the single TRS connection. Choke works by grabbing the cymbal edge. The TD-6 supports two 2-zone crash inputs (CRASH1 and CRASH2) plus a separate RIDE input.

3-zone ride 2-zone 1× TRS: Ride 1 (bow/edge) → RIDE input (TRIGGER INPUT 11) on the rear panel

Plug the Lemon ride's Ride 1 cable into the RIDE input for bow + edge — no cymbal modification. The TD-6 ships the ride's second zone as a bell voice, so assign a ride-edge or crash sound to it if you want an edge.

Hi-hat Continuous 1× TRS → HI-HAT input (TRIGGER INPUT 3) on the rear panel + 1× TRS → HH CTRL input on the rear panel

Continuous hi-hat control via the HH CTRL jack. The TD-6 supports the FD-7 and FD-6 hi-hat control pedals and provides smooth open-to-closed transitions.
