- Plug the CRASH1 lead on the MULTI-A breakout cable into the cymbal.
- The EFNOTE 3 sound module has no 1/4" trigger jacks of its own — every pad reaches it through the MULTI-A and MULTI-B breakout cables, which screw into two multi-pin sockets recessed into the bottom of the module (named on Reference Guide p.4; Quickstart Guide p.10 step 1 shows the module turned over to fit them).
Module settings
- In the Trigger menu's PAD screen, select the crash Input.
- Adjust Sens and Threshold; Sens B adjusts the edge zone.
- Use the X-TALK ELIM. screen if hits on other pads falsely trigger this one.
Tips
- Dual-zone bow and edge triggering is supported.
- Cymbal choke is supported via edge grab.
- For a second crash, use the CRASH2 lead on the MULTI-B breakout cable (Quickstart Guide p.11).
