Wiring, module settings, and tips for the T950 13"x13" Floor Tom when used with the Simmons Titan 50.

The T950 13"x13" Floor Tom works on your Simmons Titan 50 with reduced zones.

Head Rim

Wiring: 1× TRS per tom → TOM1, TOM2, TOM3 connectors on the DB-25 cable harness

The Titan 50 ships with single-zone 8" tom pads and the cable-harness tom channels are configured single-zone only. Only the head zone will trigger; rim hits will not produce a separate sound.

Cable routing

Connect a 1/4" TRS cable from each tom pad to the TOM1, TOM2, or TOM3 connector on the DB-25 cable harness.

Module settings

MENU > TRIGGER > select Tom > adjust Sensitivity, Threshold, Crosstalk.

Tips

Only the head (center piezo) triggers — the rim switch on the pad is ignored by this module.
A TS cable also works since only the tip signal is read.
