Rim
Wiring: 1× TRS per tom → “T1”, “T2” and “T3” leads on the DB-25 cable snake
Dual-zone tom triggering: head (tip) and rim (ring) respond independently via the single TRS connection per tom input.
Cable routing
- Connect a 1/4" TRS cable from each tom pad to the “T1”, “T2” or “T3” lead on the DB-25 cable snake.
Module settings
- Press [SETUP], then [F1] (TRIG), then [F1] (TYPE).
- Hit a tom to select its input (or use the CURSOR buttons).
- Set "Trig Type" to PD85 or PD105 with [+/-] to match your tom.
- Press [F2] (BASIC) to fine-tune "Sensitivity" (1-32) and "Threshold" (0-31).
Tips
- Head triggers from the center piezo, rim from a second piezo on the ring.
- Both zones respond independently on the TRS connection (tip = head, ring = rim).
