Rim
Wiring: 1× TRS per tom → the “T1”, “T2” and “T3” leads on the dedicated connection cable
Dual-zone tom triggering: head (tip) and rim (ring) respond independently via the single TRS connection per tom input.
Cable routing
- Connect a ¼″ TRS cable from each tom pad to the lead labeled “T1”, “T2” or “T3” on the dedicated connection cable.
Module settings
- Press [SETUP], turn the dial to select "Pad Settings", then press [ENTER].
- Press [F1] (TYPE), then strike a tom to select the TOM1, TOM2, or TOM3 input.
- Turn the dial to set Pad Type to PD85 or PD105.
- Press [F2] (BASIC), select "Sensitivity", and turn the dial to adjust it.
Tips
- Head triggers from the center piezo, rim from a second piezo on the ring.
- Both zones respond independently on the TRS connection (tip = head, ring = rim).
