Works

The T950 13"x13" Floor Tom is fully supported on your Alesis Crimson II.

Head Rim

Wiring: 1× TRS per tom → Tom1, Tom2, Tom3 connectors on the cable snake

The tom connectors on the cable snake support dual-zone (head + rim) triggering via center piezo and rim switch.

Cable routing

  1. Connect a 1/4" TRS cable from each tom pad to the Tom1, Tom2, or Tom3 connector on the cable snake.

Module settings

  1. Go to Kit > Menu > Trigger. Select the Tom input.
  2. Adjust Sensitivity, Threshold, Curve, and Rim Sens.
  3. Set Head-Rim Adj to balance head and rim response.

Tips

  1. Head triggers from the center piezo, rim triggers from the rim switch.
  2. Both zones respond independently on the TRS connection (tip = head, ring = rim).
