Bow Edge

Wiring: 1× TRS → CRASH1 connector on the DB-25 cable snake, or the TRIGGER IN CRASH2 jack on the side panel

Dual-zone crash triggering: bow (tip) and edge (ring) respond independently via the single TRS connection. Choke works by grabbing the cymbal edge. The TD-11 supports Roland CY-series 2-zone cymbals.

Cable routing

Connect a ¼″ TRS cable from the cymbal to the CRASH1 connector on the DB-25 cable snake.
For a second cymbal, use the TRIGGER IN CRASH2 jack on the side panel (p. 8) — the TD-11's one extra trigger jack, stereo 1/4-inch phone type (p. 50).

Module settings

In the DRUM KIT screen, press [MENU], scroll to the SYSTEM icon, and press [F3] (SYSTEM).
Use the cursor buttons to select "Pad Settings", press [F3] (ENTER), then press [F1] (TYPE).
Strike the cymbal to select the CRASH1 input, then set "Pad Type" to CY-12C or CY-13R to match your cymbal.
Press [F2] (BASIC) to fine-tune "Sensitivity" (1-32) and "Threshold" (0-31).

Tips

Bow and edge zones respond independently.
Choke works by grabbing the cymbal edge.
CRASH2 and AUX are direct jacks on the rear panel, not part of the cable snake.
