15" Dual-Zone China on NUX DM-210

Wiring, module settings, and tips for the 15" Dual-Zone China when used with the NUX DM-210.

Setup — 15" Dual-Zone China on NUX DM-210

Works

Yes — the 15" Dual-Zone China works as a full 2-zone crash on the NUX DM-210: bow + edge.

Bow Edge

Wiring: 1× TRS → Crash branch on the multi-pin trigger snake, or the rear-panel CYMBAL expansion jack

Dual-zone crash: bow and edge respond independently over one TRS. The DM-210 has one crash branch on the snake plus a dedicated CYMBAL expansion jack for an added cymbal.

Cable routing

  1. Plug the Lemon crash into the CRASH branch of the trigger snake.
  2. For a second cymbal, use the rear-panel CYMBAL (1/4" TRS) expansion jack.

Module settings

  1. In drum-kit mode, press the MENU button.
  2. Use the − / + buttons to select TRIG, then press OK.
  3. Hit the crash to select it as the pad to adjust.
  4. Press OK to step to each parameter and use − / + to set the value.
  5. Set SENSITIVITY and THRESHOLD for the bow, and RIM GAIN for the edge zone.
  6. If a nearby pad cross-triggers the crash, raise XTALK CANCEL.
  7. Press MENU to return — the parameters save automatically.

Tips

  1. Bow and edge respond independently.
  2. XTALK CANCEL helps if a nearby pad cross-triggers the cymbal.
15" Dual-Zone China also fits 73 other drum modules — see setup
