Wiring: 1× TRS → Crash 1 connector on the 25-pin cable snake, or 1× TS → Crash 2 jack on the rear panel
The Nitro's crash input is single-zone (bow only) — the MIDI chart maps a single note per crash with no separate edge note. Connecting a 2-zone cymbal triggers the bow zone; edge strikes won't sound separately.
Cable routing
- Connect a ¼″ TRS cable from the cymbal to the Crash 1 connector on the 25-pin cable snake.
- Or connect the cymbal to the Crash 2 jack on the rear panel.
Module settings
- Hit the crash pad, or press its Pad Select button, so the module selects that input.
- Press Utility, then press Page/Select until the setting you want appears: SEN (Pad sensitivity), THR (Pad threshold), CRO (Pad crosstalk), or CUR (Pad velocity curve).
- Set the value with the < and > buttons.
- Press Save to keep the settings — otherwise they return to defaults when you power the module off.
Tips
- The crash input reads the bow zone only — edge strikes won't produce a separate sound.
- CRO (Crosstalk) helps reduce false triggers from nearby pads.
