Snare pad 2-zone 1× TRS → the “SNR” lead on the dedicated connection cable
Dual-zone triggering: head (tip) and rim (ring) respond independently over the single TRS connection, so head shots and rim shots play separate sounds.
Tom pad 2-zone 1× TRS per tom → the “T1”, “T2” and “T3” leads on the dedicated connection cable
Dual-zone tom triggering: head (tip) and rim (ring) respond independently via the single TRS connection per tom input.
Kick pad Works 1× TS or TRS → the “KIK” lead on the dedicated connection cable
Single-zone kick trigger via the dedicated connection cable. Only the head zone is active.

Dual-zone crash triggering: bow (tip) and edge (ring) respond independently via the single TRS connection. Choke works by grabbing the cymbal edge. The TD-17 supports Roland CY-series 2-zone cymbals.

Full 3-zone ride on the “RD” and “RDB” leads of the dedicated connection cable. The TD-17KVX Setup Guide wires the stock CY-13R the same way — RD plug to its BOW/EDGE OUTPUT jack, RDB plug to its BELL OUTPUT jack — which is exactly the Lemon ride's two-output layout.
