Wiring: 1× TRS (pad) → HH input + 1× TRS (pedal) → HH Pedal input
Variable hi-hat pedal control is supported — the Lemon pedal drives open, closed, half-open, and splash articulations. Confirmed by Lemon Cymbals compatibility reference.
Cable routing
- Connect a ¼″ TRS cable from the hi-hat pad to the HH input on the rear panel.
- Connect a ¼″ TRS cable from the hi-hat pedal controller to the HH Pedal input on the rear panel.
Module settings
- Press the HH Setup button to enter hi-hat calibration mode.
- Adjust Pedal Bottom and Pedal Top to define the pedal travel range.
- Set Chick Gain to control foot chick/stomp response and Splash Sensitivity for splash sounds.
Tips
- Run the HH Setup calibration any time you change pedals or adjust the stand.
- The Prime provides 5 hi-hat trigger zones for detailed articulation across the full pedal range.
- Fine-tune Sensitivity (1.0–32.0) in Kit → Trigger Edit if response feels too hot or too soft.
