Works

The T950 13"x5" Snare Drum is fully supported on your Alesis CORE.

Head Rim

Wiring: 1× TRS → SNARE input (1/4" TRS jack)

The snare input supports dual-zone (head + rim) triggering via center piezo and rim switch.

Cable routing

  1. Connect a 1/4" TRS cable from the snare pad to the SNARE input on the rear panel.

Module settings

  1. Go to Kit → Trigger Mode. Select the Snare input.
  2. Choose a factory trigger preset or adjust Sensitivity and Threshold manually.

Tips

  1. Head triggers from the center piezo, rim triggers from the rim switch.
  2. Both zones respond independently on the TRS connection (tip = head, ring = rim).
